This past weekend, our family decided to camp at Lake Powhatan which is located in the Bent Creek area in the Pisgah National Forest. We had never been here before and I was excited to check it out!
Sunday Hike On The Appalachian Trail
After two weeks of snow and rain, we had a beautiful day. We decided to enjoy the day outdoors by heading out on a hiking adventure. We weren’t sure exactly where we were going at first, but I knew I wanted to hit a part of the Appalachian trail.

Today my weather observation is: Today the weather was Sunny and cool. The wind was also blowing. There were a few snow flurries. Our yard was also full of robins.
My First Bike Race
My first time I was in a bike race was this past fall at JackRabbit. I was very nervous at first because I had never done it before and didn’t know what to expect.

Today my observation during outside play of the weather was: When I went outside today the sun was shinning and there were very few clouds. The wind was blowing making it a little cool, but the temperature was around 51 degrees.
